Poland

Poland's high income economy is considered to be one of the healthiest of the post-communist countries and is currently one of the fastest growing of the EU. Poland is the only member of the European Union to have avoided a decline in GDP during the 2000s recession. In 2009 Poland had the largest GDP growth in the EU.

According to a Credit Suisse report, Poles are the second wealthiest of the central european peoples, making it an attractive destination for guest workers from Asia and east europe. Commodities produced in Poland include electronics, cars, buses, helicopters, medicine and chemical products. International companies are increasingly looking at Poland as a place to pitch their services.

When providing services in Poland they will either have to relocate their own staff or source international contractors. It is very difficult to start a company in Poland as a foreign owned enterprise and as such if these companies wish to relocate their staff or source international contractors they will require a locally based Contractor Management Company to provide a full employed local solution for their employees.

This will entail Polish Work Permits and local Polish payroll. As an individual, working in Poland can be a highly rewarding experience, an opportunity to experience living in the central europe and high earning rates.
