Study 1 - The Client:
a Canadian company won an IT project in Dubai, but needed to bring in 15 of their own staff to manage it. They didn’t want to set up their own entity in Dubai, as such they had no vehicle through which to sponsor their staff on Dubai Work Permits or in fact to payroll them locally. They tried to find local companies they could partner with but didn’t come up with a solution. They then came across our professional employer organization (PEO) solutions and we were able, along with our locally based partner company, to provide Dubai work permit sponsorship and local Dubai pay-rolling for all of their staff.
Study 2 – The Recruitment Agency:
a London based recruitment agent, Hamish Johnson, had been given a job spec for a contractor to work in Abu Dhabi. The contractor was a French national and would require both Work Permit sponsorship and local pay-rolling for the duration of his contract in Abu Dhabi. Hamish, having dealt with Contractor Taxation for a number of international contract assignments previously, contacted us immediately. We were able to provide him with costs and timeframes for Work Permit sponsorship and he was able to get back to his client immediately with a solution. With our local partner we now sponsor several of Hamish’s Abu Dhabi (and Middle East) based contractors on local Work Permits and provide local Abu Dhabi payroll.
