Points for Tier 2 - Sponsored UK Work Permits. You need 50 points to qualify and at least 20 points need to come from Qualifications and Prospective Earnings:

- Certification of Sponsorship (30-50 points).
50 points for Shortage Occupations, 30 points for positions that pass the Resident Labour Market Test. Our partners will review your case and issue you with a Certificate of Sponsorship if you pass the Resident Labour Market Test. This is worth 30 points.

- Qualifications (0-15 points)
A PhD is worth 15 points, Masters / Bachelors degree is worth 10 points, sub degree level qualifications are worth 5 points. All qualifications need to be verifiable by NARIC, the National Academic Recognition Information Centre. Only one qualification will count towards your score here. Our sponsorship partner will assist you in assessing your qualifications and how many points you score under this category. NOTE: If your prospective earnings are over £24000p.a then you don't need to score any points under qualifications category. Your earnings will get you over the line.

- Prospective Earnings (0-20 points)
You must earn at least £17000 to get any points in this category, and you have to score some points here to get a Tier 2 visa.
£24,000+ p.a. = 20 points
£22,000 - £23,999 p.a. = 15 points
£20,000 - £21,999 p.a. = 10 points
£17,000 - £19,999 p.a. = 5 points
Note that under our partner's system you will earn significantly more than £24000, and will get more than 20 points in this category.
